Welcome and thank you for visiting our website! We’d also love to welcome you to worship God with us on Sunday mornings at either our traditional service from 9 to 10 or our contemporary service from 11 to noon. We have free Christian books on our literature table that are our gift to you to thank you for coming. We’re easy to find at the corner of Main Street and Loop 539 in Cibolo, across from the new Cibolo City Hall and police station and next to Harmon’s BBQ.
What Is Worship Like?
If you enjoy classic hymns, organ music, choir anthems, and a liturgical order of worship I think you’ll really enjoy our traditional service. If you enjoy the latest praise and worship music, the kind of music you’d hear on K-LOVE radio, along with a few older songs and hymns, you’ll love our contemporary service. Our worship band leader comes from one of the largest and fastest-growing churches in the nation and we truly have a phenomenally gifted band whose focus is on leading people to worship God. At both services you’ll find solid Bible teaching from a pastor who is a strong proponent of classical Reformation theology. I work very hard to try to deliver sermons that are both engaging and educational, that bring both life and light to God’s Word, the Bible.
What Do You Have for My Kids?
During each service we have a staffed nursery, a cry room, and children’s church/Bible teaching for kids on their level (or kids can stay in the regular service if parents prefer). In between the services, from 10:10 to 10:50, we have Sunday School classes for all ages: children, teens, and four different adult study groups. On Wednesday nights we have Pioneer Club children’s ministry, Youth Group in our youth room, and an adult Bible study. There are additional fun outings and service/mission projects throughout the year for the youth and also for the children.
Large Enough to Serve You, Small Enough to Care
I’m very proud of our incredible staff: Associate Pastor Willie Stratemann, Worship Leader Stephen Stogner, Youth Minister Clark Niles, Technology Director Brian Stuhl, Secretary Beth Johnson, and Organist Elaine McIntyre. These gifted people have a heart for the Lord, for serving Him and others, are very friendly and approachable and eager to be of service to you.
Join Us In Mission
I invite you to join us in mission – to “make up there come down here,” because Jesus prayed for God’s Kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. There are many ways we do this, from helping the poor and needy through RACAP and GRASP to supporting missionaries and going on mission trips, etc., etc., etc. Engaging in mission gives purpose, meaning, fulfillment, and joy.
Again, please know that you are always welcome here and that we would love to welcome you to worship this Sunday at either of our services. May the Lord bless you in every area of your life!
